Our Karma Project grants share up to $2500 and are designed to be an approachable opportunity for compassion creators and community change-makers to access the financial support necessary to amplify their offering of love and kindness to the world.

Meet the inspiring people who are galvanizing their communities and impacting the world with their actions.
Utilizing a commercial kitchen to expand his non-profit’s offering of hot food and prepared meals, Nick and his team will share food with more than 600+ houseless people every week for the next six months in Portland, Oregon.
Deaf children will receive yoga and meditation classes focused on self-regulation, self-love and mindfulness, taught in American Sign Language.
Pop Earth’s Healthy Living Program, a holistic health offering of yoga and healthy cooking classes for adults with special needs, will be supported for the next 20-weeks, on Long Island, NY.
The Catskill Community Fridge provides free, unrestricted food 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. United We Om is grateful to be able to help fill the fridge with food, twice a week, for the next 10-weeks.
Utilizing an Eastern European Jewish dessert, Babka Diplomacy will bring together faith leaders from across the faith spectrum in Kingston and Ulster County, to learn from each other, dispel stereotypes and misconceptions, to offer support and share resources.
Supporting year of classes for the Collective, amplifying their mission of creating an inclusive space where individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities can come together to practice yoga and cultivate peace, strength, and self-empowerment.
Autistic adults will receive 10 sessions of tailored sound meditations, utilizing tactile instruments to promote sensory regulation, emotional stability, mindfulness, and community connection.
Dana will lead 4 workshops for members of the LGBTQ+ community, utilizing art as a form of introspection and self exploration, to create personalized zines called Coping Maps.
Offering a structured yoga program within a high school focused on recovery and trauma, will help the teenagers manage their stress, anxiety, and mental wellness while they remain sober and in school.
Landscape Designer Ashley Gamell will create multiple thriving gardens and green spaces at the teen shelter, Family House in Rosendale, NY.
Para Doña Yoga, created by yoga teacher Klaudia Paletta, shares weekly free chair yoga classes for Spanish-speaking seniors, taught in their native language.
Nick Harris will lead six, 90-minute goal and intention-setting workshops, for inmates serving time at two correctional facilities in OR and CA.

ABOUT UWO
United We Om (UWO) was co-founded in 2015 as a yoga and meditation non-profit, offering trauma-informed trainings and hiring yoga teachers from trauma-impacted backgrounds to share practice with their own communities. From 2015 - 2023, UWO shared practice with more than 25,000 participants from hundreds of communities and trained more than 1000 teachers.
In 2024, UWO embarked on a new journey of Karma Yoga. Once again we are on the cutting edge of service and we’re excited for you to join us.
