Beyond the Circle
Beyond the Circle is a three month community service initiative designed to help
young adults in Harlem and the Bronx (New York City), turn personal growth into community impact.
Through
small group gatherings, restorative dialogue, wellness practices, peer support, and hands on
acts of service, participants will build stronger emotional awareness, resilience, communication
skills, and a deeper sense of responsibility to their communities.
Meet Team Brown’s Founder
Larry “Brown” Ingram, a native of the South Bronx, is a community leader, mentor, and founder of Team B.R.O.W.N., a nonprofit dedicated to building resilience, opportunity, wellness, and networks.
Driven by a passion for empowerment, Larry founded Team B.R.O.W.N. and later strengthened his work through the Institute for Transformative Mentoring (I.T.M.), where he gained training in healing, practical skills, and supportive mentorship. He went on to serve as an advocate and mentor for newly accepted students at The New School and became a co-facilitator and mentor for I.T.M. 's Community Based Restorative Justice program. In addition to his nonprofit work, Larry serves as Chief Financial Officer of Launch Pad Inc., extending his leadership into the business and nonprofit sectors. Through his continued presence in the community, mentorship, networking, and programming, Larry’s mission remains centered on providing people with the tools and resources they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
