Meet
Wildland Ecology
Wildland Ecology will share two invaluable programs supporting the earth while simultaneously educating children and feeding their community.
A hands-on STEM programs for children in Colorado, focused on the interconnection of all living beings, by exploring the role of the humble beaver and their invaluable impact on many environments.
A forest restoration program, utilizing wood from a local forest fire to create a raised bed community garden, which will be used to provide fresh produce for community members experiencing food insecurity.
About
Wildland Ecology
Wildland Ecotech is a 501(c)(3) restoring land scarred by wildfire and pollution. In Colorado, we build beaver dam analogs and water catchment structures across 1,000+ acres of burn scar, planting trees and reducing wildfire risk. In New York, we steward recovering wetlands near a Superfund site. Since 2020 we've sequestered hundreds of tons of CO2 and connected over 50 volunteers with local land owners.
