YOGA AND MEDITATION FOR
PARENTS WITH CRITICALLY ILL CHILDREN AT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
It is most parents worst nightmare to have a critically or terminally ill child. Yet the families living at the Ronald McDonald House live this nightmare every day. By offering yoga and mediation practices that seek to allow rest, self-care and appreciation for the present moment we hope to support the difficult journey these families are on. We hope to let them know that they are in all of our hearts.
OUR TEACHER
"I love to Serve Others. I was recently diagnosed and successfully treated for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma at Sloan Kettering . I am so blessed to have tons of support from family and friends and to be able to speak to the experience first hand. I truly believe in the universe and that everything happens for a reason, and my reason is to share this experience with others so that I may be able to Love on the Care Givers , the Patients, the Community of People who may not even know they need support." - Samantha Harris
