OUR KARMA PROJECT
YOGA FOR ADULTS ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM
Anxiety and overstimulation are two of the hallmarks of Autism Spectrum Disorder. With growing demand for alternative therapies to help people with ASD feel their best, Yoga is gaining traction in the scientific community for it's ability to lessen the experience of anxiety and overstimulation that is so common among children and adults on the spectrum.
Focusing on breathing, gentle movement and guided relaxation that engage the parasympathetic nervous system, specialized Yoga for Autism can help improve sleep, mood, digestion and much more. These simple breathing and movement techniques are incredibly effective and can become tools that can be incorporated into the daily lives of adults on the autism spectrum to find calm and peace. |
