Resilience: Channeling an "Ordinary Magic"

Coming Soon a Resilience Workshop with Marianna Graziosi.
Many of us think of resilience as the ability to "grit and bear it" through adversity. This myth is not only unsustainable, but harmful as it can lead to burnout rather than resilience. Research shows, however, that resilience is cultivated via various "ordinary" pathways: our self, relationships, communities, and institutions. This workshop will offer an overview of how resilience is defined by the research, along with modules designed to offer specific and targeted strategies to build up your resilience in the areas mentioned above. Worksheets and meditations will be made available and a live Q&A will be scheduled upon completion of the workshop modules.

Yamas and Niyamas : an Anti-Racist Application

Join Verushka Gray and Alicia Carlson, co-facilitators of United We Om's Yoga of Anti-Racism Training, for a new exploration around the intersection of these two essential ideas.
The Yamas and Niyamas are essential teachings in the yoga cannon. In this workshop, you'll take an in-depth dive into how each of them can be understood and practiced through an Anti-Racist perspective.
Alicia and Verushka offer another journey of interwoven practice, concepts and yogic philosophy to allow us a window into how each of us can participate in creating a more loving community. It all starts within us, one step at a time.
