YOGA AND MEDITATION FOR
Young people identifying as Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transexual need acceptance and love, now more than ever. Our Karma Project offers yoga and meditation to LGBT youth who receive support and services from the Long Island LGBT Network. Taking place at "The Center", an amazingly vibrant community space, our class will be a part of the LGBT Networks self-care program for youth.
Amy Elias was one of the first Yoga Teachers on Long Island, and holds a double masters in Special Education and Elementary Education. She is mother to a gay son and feels passionate about offering yoga to the LGBTQ community.
