Cultivating Your Home Meditation Practice - 4 class series

Thursdays April 9, 16, 23, 30 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm

How to Meditate - A Four Part Series with Joe Iadanza

In meditation, your presence and willingness are all that are required. Nothing else is needed. It’s quite simple, but it’s certainly not easy. That being said, it is certainly helpful to understand why it's so challenging (you're not alone!) and also to have a teacher guide you on your way to your own daily meditation practice.

In this four-part workshop, we’ll explore the idea of becoming “present” (aka: mindful, in the now), finding a comfortable seated position, breathing, becoming focused, staying committed, watching your thoughts, what to do when you get stuck, and connecting to your source or True Self.  Exercises will be given at each stage to help empower you for success. Each 30 minute session builds upon the prior, as we help move you step-by-step and incrementally into your own 15 minute silent meditation practice.

No prior experience with meditation is required. There will be time throughout the sessions to address your questions.

This is a series, and we recommend you join all four calls.  If you need to miss a class we will happily email you a recording.

thank you for joining us!  You will receive an email with log-in instructions for the call.

Please make a donation and pay the practice forward to trauma-impacted and under-resourced communities.  There is no minimum donation.
